To use, simply unravel about 12-18 inches of floss, cut it off with the lid cutter, and wrap it tightly around your fingers. Glide the floss in between your teeth and on the sides of each tooth in an up and down motion. As the floss reaches the gums, curve it using a C motion against the tooth and slide it into the space between the gums and teeth. Use a new clean section of floss for every tooth.
